Oklahoma State University (OSU) Extension is planning a Master Cattleman (MC) Summit Aug. 10-11 in Stillwater. Derrell Peel, livestock marketing specialist, says the summit's focus is how cattle value is derived from meat and how producers can potentially increase that value through production and marketing decisions. OSU MC graduates and current members, along with their families, are encouraged to attend.
Registration forms will be mailed to all MC participants and will also be available at all county Extension offices. Registration, which is $15/person and is due by July 21, is limited to 180 participants of the MC program. Open seats after July 21 will be made available to non-MC producer.
