The U.S. Senate passed the Oman Free Trade Agreement (FTA) before leaving for the July 4 recess.

The U.S. Senate passed the Oman Free Trade Agreement (FTA) before leaving for the July 4 recess. The House Ways and Means Committee has approved the FTA, which will be considered by the full House sometime this month. Other trade bills to be considered by Congress this year include the U.S.-Peru Free Trade Agreement and Vietnam Permanent Normal Trade Relations.
