Do you wish you could use extra land for grazing, but it's owned by an absentee landowner? Absentee landowners are not usually actively involved in decision-making on the farm, and a majority of them have never been a farm operator. Thus they may not be aware of how to approach someone about using it for grazing, or available programs that can assist. The Center for Absentee Landowners works to inform and assist absentee landowners with understanding and implementing conservation programs on their land.
The Center is designed to help landowners understand the different available programs, which agencies to contact and the tools needed to implement conservation. Visit the Center's website to view resources available to both the absetee landowner and farmers who would like to utilize the land.
