BEEF magazine editors Amanda Radke and Jamie May asked producers to define the term "animal welfare" at the Cattle Industrys Convention and NCBA Trade Show in Denver, CO.
Each producer had their own unique definition that confirmed the importance of animal welfare in producing a safe and wholesome end product, but despite their differences, they all agreed it was time to take the term back. It is our industry, our traditions and our definition.
We invite you to take a look and share your definition, as well. Stop by BEEF Daily to learn more about our take on animal welfare and handling.
