Denver, Colo. (July 22, 2010) Jonathan Beitia has joined the North American Limousin Foundation (NALF) staff as the director of communications. In that position, he will serve as the organizations communication, marketing and advertising specialist to the Limousin breed and NALF.
“I'm excited to work for the nearly 3,000 members of NALF,” Beitia said. “The organization has a new strategic plan and is full of energy that will further grow the breed. I look forward to interacting with the passionate members of NALF and others in the beef industry to heighten the Limousin breed's recognition in the commercial beef industry.”
Beitia comes to NALF after working for the U.S. Senate in Washington, D.C., the National Cattlemen's Beef Association (NCBA) in Washington D.C. and the National Cattlemen's Foundation (NCF) in Denver, Colo. During his tenure with NCBA and NCF, Beitia administered several of the industries most notable programs including the Environmental Stewardship Award Program.
Beitia was raised on a commercial cow/calf operation outside of Elko, Nev., and holds a degree in Agriculture Education from the University of Nevada, Reno. He remains engaged in the family ranch with his parents and siblings.
