I'm excited to report that the participation in the second 2009 BEEF Daily Summer Photography Contest far exceeded my expectations. I received a fantastic collection of cattle photos from all across the country, and they are now online for you to view, as well. It was so much fun looking through all of the entries. Photos sent in represented various breeds, backgrounds and families. Obviously, judging was really tough, so tough, that we couldn't select two winners. Instead, our judges have narrowed the photos down to ten finalists, and it's going to be up to YOU to select our two winners.
Remember, our grand and reserve champion photos will receive western art prints valued at $200, courtesy of BEEF Magazine. First, check out the online photo album, "Cattle Call," that highlights many of the entries sent in for this contest. Then, review the top ten photos below and vote for your favorite one in the comment section (Vote for one photo, please. They are numbered 1-10, Top to Bottom). Be sure to tell all of your friends to take a minute to vote, as well. Voting begins today and will run until next Thursday, August 27, 2009. One vote per email address, please. Thanks for all of your help! I can't wait to see who our winners will be!
