BEEF’s new look

When you opened our website at beefmagazine.com today, you no doubt noticed it looks a little different than what you’re used to. And that’s a good thing.

Welcome to BEEF’s new look.

You now have a fresh, new and easy-to-use website at your disposal. What’s more, when the January BEEF magazine hits your mailbox, you’ll notice a few changes there, as well. We've retooled our cover, and we've refreshed the graphics and interior to make the magazine an easier read. This is part of a new strategy, including our new website, aimed at providing you information in an easier-to-read and access format.

While we’ve updated our look, the articles you’ll read inside the magazine and on our website won’t change. We will continue to offer you the production information and commentary you can use to keep yourself and your operation progressive and moving forward.

For the website, we've added a host of new functionality designed to make your experience better than ever. And we want to share those key features with you here so when you're online you know what we're offering and can take full advantage of those features.

There are several major enhancements you'll notice online:

Weather and markets. The latest weather reports and market prices will be right up front on the home page, so you can access them easily.

Read on any device. The site adjusts on the go as you switch between horizontal and vertical, tablet and phone, laptop and desktop. You will see virtually the same site and content regardless of how you access it with no drag on load times.

Bigger photos, useful galleries. You will see large, vivid images accompanying our stories and view photo galleries that are filled with even larger, nearly full-screen photographs.

Simple navigation. On the top left you'll see a menu button (it's those three lines to the left of the BEEF logo). Just click on that button and you have a selection of our most popular sections. And as you finish one story, we serve up more content on related topics. No more returning to the home page to see what else we've posted; it'll come to you as you scroll through the story.

Just as the beef business is always changing, so are we. The iconic BEEF look has been updated and improved and we think you’ll like what you see. So enjoy the magazine and check out the website to keep up with the latest information, and thanks for reading.
