Don’t forget to enter BEEF’s “Thankful” contest

Last week, we kicked off a Thanksgiving contest where we asked readers, “What are you thankful for?” With the big holiday just days away, there is still time to answer the question and be entered to win a western art print, courtesy of BEEF.

The entries are starting to roll in. You can view the complete gallery of reader submissions here.

  • SD13 writes, “I am thankful for my family, both two-legged and four-legged, especially our newest four-legged addition. Family is everything.”
  • Another reader (user-345482) writes, “I am thankful to live on a farm and be out in the country. I love the space and freedom of working on our own land and being close to nature. Thank you Lord for your many blessings to us in the U.S.”
  • Tommye Jordan writes, “I am thankful I can pray and talk to God any time of the day and night. I am thankful for the freedoms we have in this country. I am thankful for family and friends as well as the beautiful world God has given us

. I am most thankful knowing God is in charge, and we have hope.”
  • Bailey Bannister submitted her entry with a photograph of her family in a cattle pasture. She writes, “I’m thankful for the ability to pursue happiness.”

Thanks so far to everyone who has participated.

We will accept submissions until noon on Wednesday, Nov. 25, and we will announce the three winners on Thanksgiving day. Good luck!
