Missouri State highway trooper will be spending 10 days in jail for death of person he arrested for boating while intoxicated. The person was wearing handcuffs but no life jacket in law enforcement boat when a wave came and washed him overboard. He drowned.

In 1950 his remains were deemed “unrecoverable.” In 2010, workers installing electrical line unearthed some remains and after lots of CSI work, Private First Class Gerald Wipfli will be this weekend with full military honors in his hometown.
