Pfizer Animal Health has received approval for DRAXXIN Injectable Solution as the only antibiotic approved for the treatment of bovine respiratory disease (BRD) associated with Mycoplasma bovis.
DRAXXIN offers a convenient, full course of therapy in a single dose and is indicated for the treament of Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida, Histophilus somni and Mycoplasma bovis.

Trailed disk mowers
Two trailer models join the Kuhn Farm Machinery Disk Mower line. The GMD 283 and 313 models are available in working widths of 9 ft., 2 in., and 10 ft., 2 in., respectively. The Jaguar Green Eye is the latest in the CLAAS line of forage harvesters. Their newly designed Tier III engines offer higher performance and lower emissions. The Jaguar 830 and 850 contain a 6-cylinder engine and the 870, 890 and 900 are equipped with an 8-cylinder engine. Horsepower ranges from 345-623 hp.

Control horn flies
Horn flies cost cattle producers about $875 million/year. The SmartLic IGR (insect growth regulator) supplements fortified with Altosid, from New Generation Feeds, helps reduce horn fly populations. When fed to cattle, SmartLic IGR provides a sufficient amount of insect growth regulating methoprene to prevent the emergence of adult horn flies from the manure of treated cattle.
