Weekly Cattle Market Wrap Up | Midweek auctions decline

Last week's big jump in feeder cattle prices topped out but early week auctions continued to increase catching up with prices that got higher later in the previous week. Mid-week auctions started to decline just a little.
 
Slaughter cow receipts at the 20 test auctions totaled 7,100 head which was up just 200 head. Prices were steady to $2 higher on the heels of firming cow meat prices.
