About Leah Seawright
A native of Fort Payne, Alabama, Leah Seawright was immersed in music from birth. Leah joined a local country band in high school, in which she gained confidence performing on stage. After graduating high school, she continued singing, as well as songwriting. The following years, she traveled the U.S. performing songs off of her self-written, gospel albums. While devoting years to being a stay at home mom with her three children, she continued writing, and finding inspiration for these new songs in her surroundings.
In 2009, she gathered the new batch of tunes and headed back in the studio, thus was born her first country album, Country Girl 101. She collaborated with producer Jeremy Stover, the wizard behind Justin Moore’s string of hits. Her latest album release is due out early summer 2012.
