Forrest L. Roberts, former marketing manager for Elanco's Beef Business Unit, is the new CEO of the National Cattlemen's Beef Association (NCBA), effective Jan. 20. Roberts, 42, grew up on a family-owned, diversified livestock operation in Uvalde, TX. He replaces Terry Stokes, who has served nearly seven years as NCBA's CEO.
Roberts holds a bachelor's degree in animal science from Texas A&M University and a master's of business administration from the University of North Carolina. In addition to Elanco, where he's served since 2004, Roberts also served with Upjohn Animal Health, which merged into Pharmacia Animal Health and later Pfizer Animal Health.
