It's that time of year again. Time to celebrate the abundant harvest of another year of hard work. For farmers and ranchers, that means the weeks are filled with combining corn and beans, weaning calves, working cows, selling and buying feeder cattle and celebrating the fruits of our labor. The days are crisp and cool and the orange and red leaves dance to the ground as they fall off the trees. It's a beautiful time of year, and it's time to capture it in a photograph!
Today, I would like to announce the opening of the new BEEF Daily Fall Harvest Photography Contest. Send in shots of your cattle grazing the corn stalks, your cowboys working the cattle, your kids dressed up for Halloween, or your combine moving up and down the field. The sky is the limit, so get creative! We have had hundreds of entrants in our previous contests, and I look forward to viewing your entries in this one as well.
It’s easy to enter; simply send in your photo with description, your name and a mailing address to [email protected] The contest is open until Wednesday, Nov. 10, when I will choose 10 finalists to be voted on by you, the readers. Two winners will be selected to win surprise grand prizes.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A purchase does not improve your chances of winning. Contest open to legal residents of 50 United States and the District of Columbia, who are 18 or older.
