App enhances cattle producers’ trip to the San Antonio convention

The smart phone has become a required piece of equipment for many cattle producers these days. Keeping up with what's going on in an operation requires that easy access. And producers headed to San Antonio for the Cattle Industry Convention and NCBA Trade Show can power up that smart phone with a new app designed to help improve the experience.

The app, available for both iOS and Android devices, is free and provides you with several features:

  • My Schedule - save must see seminars to your personal schedule while at the event.

  • Alerts - get up to the minute notifications from the show, and sponsors, during the event.

  • Local Places - what to do and eat while in San Antonio.

  • Maps - find your favorite exhibitor booths.

  • Events - pull a listing of all seminars by day, time and location.

  • News - keep up on the latest news about the show.

  • Social Media - what are they tweeting about the show? You can find out in the app.

Make your smart phone even more beef intelligent by downloading the trade show app ahead of the event. It's a tool you can put to good use in San Antonio. And if you can't make it this year, download the app to learn more about the suppliers, services and seminars on hand. BEEF magazine will also have full voverage of the event on our website, including a photo gallery and live tweeting from Cattlemen's College and industry meetings.

Click here to download the app, or visit the iTunes or Android app store.
