NEW HOLLAND OFFERS CUSTOM TRACTOR TO BENEFIT NATIONAL FFA ORGANIZATION
New Holland, PA (October 3, 2008) – National FFA supporters will have an opportunity to take home a tricked-out tractor at the National FFA Alumni Benefit Auction, slated for Oct. 24, 2008 during the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Ind. The one-of-a-kind New Holland 105-PTO hp T6050 Elite tractor sports a custom-decorated hood featuring the familiar FFA emblem on a background reminiscent of the distinctive blue jacket worn by FFA members. The hood design also commemorates New Holland’s 60-year sponsorship of the National FFA Organization.
“New Holland has long recognized the importance of the youth leadership training the National FFA Organization provides, and we’re proud to be celebrating our 60th anniversary as a sponsor,” says New Holland North American Vice President of Sales and Marketing John Stevenson.
New Holland T6050 Elite tractor models deliver top-of-the-line comfort and performance features, including engines with electronic power management, power boost and electronic draft control.
The National FFA Alumni Benefit Auction, which offers live, proxy and online bidding, is a major fundraiser for scholarships and other programs of the FFA. In addition to the special tricked-out T6050 tractor, New Holland will also be donating a six-month lease of a New Holland tractor/
round baler combo, a sub-compact New Holland tractor autographed by country music and sports celebrities at the 2008 CMA Music Fest’s New Holland/Michael Peterson Celebrity Tractor Race, and a deluxe New Holland toolbox.
