The company says the site was rebuilt to better assist veterinarians, SelectVAC specialists and beef producers.
The site has enhanced convenience and an easy-to-navigate enrollment dashboard, so users now can easily enroll cattle into the SelectVAC program within minutes.
Site users can enter cattle immunization records, management information, breeding and genetic data, marketing location, intended sale date and more, and also check on current enrollment status, refer to archived records and download a digital copy of the barn card.
The new website and enrollment dashboard should eliminate excessive administrative time and effort, says Nathan Voris, DVM, senior marketing manager of cattle vaccines at Zoetis.
Voris notes data from the Western Video Market shows in the past couple years there has been about $70 more per head for SelectVAC calves versus preconditioned but non-enrolled calves.
SelectVAC is backed by two trusted respiratory vaccines, BOVI-SHIELD GOLD and INFORCE 3.3 Also, enrollments in SelectVAC are vetted and verified by an independent third party. With a detailed barn card listing vaccination and herd management records, SelectVAC offers buyers assurance they are purchasing reputable, well-immunized calves and provides producers an effective tool to assist with cattle marketing, Voris says.
