The film Food Inc. caused quite a bit of consternation when it opened in 2008. Many saw it as an attack on conventional agriculture and modern food processing. Producer/Director Robert Kenner says he was not a food activist when he began working on the film. He admits he was surprised at the response, but says he’s beginning to see more openness in the ag community to other points of view. He was interviewed following his speech at the Ag Issues Forum sponsored by Bayer CropScience at this year’s Commodity Classic in Tampa, FL.
