Editor, Beef Producer
Alan Newport has been an agricultural magazine writer and/or editor for 30 years and has been involved in cattle production off and on over much of that time. He has written extensively about the beef business, and especially about profitability and forage management throughout his career. He lives in north-central Oklahoma and is content director for Penton's Beef Producer and BEEF Vet, besides his work on BEEF.
