Kenneth Eng, benefactor of the Dr. Kenneth Eng and Caroline McDonald Eng Foundation, talks about the need and applications of more intensive management in the cow-calf sector. Eng established the foundation in memory of his late wife Caroline with three participating universities – the University of Nebraska, Texas A&M University (TAMU) and Oklahoma State University. The research underwritten by the $2 million endowment is presented each year in a public symposium that rotates between locations in the three states. This year’s symposium was hosted by TAMU and held in San Antonio,TX.
