Cambridge Technologies, an animal health company offering next generation diagnostics and custom vaccines, has announced the launch of Diagnostic Databridge, a new client web portal for online access to diagnostic reporting and isolate management.

The new feature is located on the Cambridge Technologies website.

Veterinarians using Diagnostic Databridge will have their own private account, accessible by username and password to enable them to see their diagnostic and sequencing reports.

The administrator says Diagnostic Databridge will improve service to customers by making all of their diagnostic and molecular sequencing reports available in a searchable format. However, the company will continue to provide individual reports by email as diagnostic cases are completed for those who prefer to receive their reports this way.

The new service also will allow veterinarians to submit diagnostic requests electronically. This gives Cambridge Technologies notice that diagnostic samples from the veterinarian will be arriving, allowing advance preparation to manage the case and insuring results get back to the veterinarian as soon as possible.

Mike Cuperus, Cambridge Technologies Marketing, adds, “Diagnostic Databridge will bring a new dimension to Cambridge’s Precision VaccinologyTM by putting diagnostic reports including Next Generation Sequencing reports in an easily accessible database to better support veterinarians in the selection of isolates for the custom vaccines that we manufacture for them and the producers they serve.”

Cambridge says it will be showcasing Diagnostic Databridge at select veterinary conferences in 2018 and will offer veterinarians the opportunity to sign up for the service then. It also will be offering webinars for veterinarians and their clinic staff to learn more about Diagnostic Databridge and how it can be used to make the volumes of diagnostic data easier to use and manage. Veterinary clinics will be contacted to sign up for the webinars in March and April. Webinar sign up will also be available online at www.cambridgetechnologies.com
