The MBA Program – that’s Masters of Beef Advocacy – has trained more than 2,000 people in how to convincingly talk about the value and the role of beef production in modern society. And those 2,000 people aren’t all cattlemen. Some are chefs, consumers, retail executives and others with an interest and a stake in the beef business. Daren Williams, National Cattlemen’s Beef Association executive director of communications, explains the program and how cattlemen can get involved.

The MBA program is an e-learning opportunity developed to assist producers across the country in becoming effective spokespersons for the industry. It consists of six, 1-hour core courses on modern beef production, animal care, beef safety, beef nutrition, environmental stewardship and the beef checkoff. This is information every producer should know about his or her industry.

The MBA program is a voluntary, self-directed online learning environment designed for beef producers, and it’s free.
