Nebraska woman named Pig Farmer of the Year never expected to do what she does now. She grew up on Oklahoma cattle ranch and got college degree. Today, she oversees workforce of 70. Part of her role will be explain wonderful care she and her colleagues provide for pigs.

There’s new tally on number of birds that died in fire on Monday night. 1.5 million birds died in the Indiana blaze. Some firefighters spent 7 hours there to bring it under control. Most of those firefighters have other jobs and are volunteers. That made for long night and long day after.
