Max Armstrong talks about November weather stats, as well as holiday travel weather, and farm accidents involving railroad crossings.
November 23, 2018
This November has been cold. Statistics show 10 degrees below normal, in Chicago.
The more challenging harvest weather, and anticipated price increases for fertilizer, had many farmers working yesterday. One farmer died yesterday in Illinois when he was crossing railroad tracks and was hit by an Amtrak.
Rural railroad crossings can be dangerous.
Check the weather if you're traveling home from the long holiday weekend. There's snow on tap for Iowa tonight and tomorrow.
