While a “normal” El Nino weather pattern, which may occur in some winter seasons, is associated with generally mild and drier conditions for much of the Plains and Corn Belt, with an active if not stormy pattern across the southern U.S. and along parts of the Eastern Seaboard, this season’s episode may be different for the winter of 2023-2024.
