Max Armstrong and Orion Samuelson start off with a report from Steve Bridge on farm bill support for the dairy industry.  Greg Grow of Archer Financial Services talks with Max and Orion about what’s happening in the grain crops.

Part 2

Greg Grow of Archer Financial Services rejoins Max and Orion and they turn their attention to how trade wars and strong yields will affect the markets. Chad Colby in the Colby Ag Tech segment previews the Farm Progress Show with Matt Jungmann, show director. Agricultural Meteorologist Greg Soulje looks at weather for the Western United States.  Max previews the schedule for Farm Progress Show.

Part 3

Orion Samuelson spent some time with with Warren Goetsch, Deputy Director, Ill. Department of Agriculture, to hear about future plans for the Illinois State Fairgrounds Colliseum, which is getting a makeover.  Patrick Haggerty gives Max and Orion a report on gene editing in crops and livestock from Washington, D.C..

Part 4

Max and Orion hear about the importance of controlled burns from Al Gustin reporting from North Dakota. Agricultural Meteorologist Greg Soulje looks at weather for the Eastern United States. In Max’s Tractor Shed, Max introduces a 1964 John Deere 4020 owned by Dennis Smith in Ridge Farm, Illinois, it’s  a real workhorse to this very day.

Part 5

In the farm broadcaster of the week segment Max and Orion chat with Dustin Hoffmann of Iowa Agribusiness Radio Network in Des Moines Iowa, where they are getting ready for the Farm Progress Show 2018.

Part 6

Orion Samuelson profiles Burwell FFA in Burwell, Neb., located in Nebraska’s Sand Hills. Member Olivia Hill who tells us about her SAE project raising Berkshire hogs. In Samuelson Says, Orion says that “We’ve been down this road before” when it comes to the farm bill and NAFTA. Greg Soulje offers his look at the weather for the week ahead.

Part 7
