Orion Samuelson and Max Armstrong look at the impact of Hurricane Florence on one farm in North Carolina, which saw significant losses to tobacco and sweet potato fields. Ag Meteorologist Greg Soulje looks at weather for the Eastern United States. And in Max's Tractor Shed, Max Armstrong shares the story of a 1972 Oliver 1755 restored by Corey Verstraeten, San Antonio, Texas. This was his latest restoration, which was a national champion in the Delo restoration contest.

Part 6
Orion Samuelson profiles Brookfield, FFA in Brookfield, Mo., a 90-member chapter in northern Missouri. The chapter has an extensive program for teaching farm safety to kids. In Samuelson Sez, Orion Samuelson asks a key question “What’s wrong with working?” He offers his take on a provision proposed in the new farm bill that some SNAP recipients should work to qualify, he added that unemployment is low, and jobs are available. And Ag Meteorologist Greg Soulje looks at weather for the week ahead.
Part 7
Orion Samuelson and Max Armstrong close this week’s show with a report from Al Gustin who looks at the challenge of dealing with blackbirds that dine on sunflowers in the Dakotas. And the wildlife services are getting more creative.
