Max Armstrong learned more about a new surface inside the Varied Industries Tent at the Farm Progress Show. The base uses soybean oil as a key ingredient. Max shares insight on the use of soy in the asphalt product which improves the life of the product and it’s environmental footprint. Rob Ewalt, president, Iowa Soybean Association, offers some added insight on the product. Research on the project started began more than a decade ago at Iowa State University.
