Max Armstrong recalls a move by Congress to fund the Agricultural Biotechnology Education and Outreach Initiative to help consumers to understand genetically modified organisms. Max shares that GMO foods have been available since the early 1990s, and that three major agencies – EPA, USDA and the Food and Drug Administration – have worked to maintain safety.
