Max Armstrong shares insight on a lawsuit filed to challenge a California standard for selling meat in the state

Max Armstrong takes a look at California's Proposition 12, which is being challenged by the National Pork Producers Council and the American Farm Bureau Federation. The groups say Proposition 12 uses standards that are not based on science; and the law will require producers in other parts of the country that want to sell into California to make significant changes to their operations. California represents 15% of the pork market.

Farm Progress America is a daily look at key issues in agriculture. It is produced and presented by Max Armstrong, veteran farm broadcaster and host of This Week in Agribusiness.
