Max Armstrong shares that the animal protein market is positive, but changes are ahead

Max Armstrong reports on the market for animal protein in 2021. While African swine fever has had an impact that could linger, it will eventually end. Expansion and rebuilding of the hog herd in China will disrupt poultry market. Today one of every three pounds of protein moving in the market goes to China, but as the country recovers that market will decline. And Max adds that livestock and poultry producers are also facing higher feed costs.

Farm Progress America is a daily look at key issues in agriculture. It is produced and presented by Max Armstrong, veteran farm broadcaster and host of This Week in Agribusiness.
