Max Armstrong starts with a look at the deer population, but turns his attention to an interesting predator impacting agriculture

Max Armstrong observes that there are more fawns showing up in the countryside. He got some positive response when he posed the question on social media. While there's some uncertainty why there are more fawns seen, but it could mean more deer and crop damage. But he also points out another challenge – losses caused by black vultures. Arkansas is taking positive action against this predator to cattle.

Farm Progress America is a daily look at key issues in agriculture. It is produced and presented by Max Armstrong, veteran farm broadcaster and host of This Week in Agribusiness.
