November 23, 2022

Max Armstrong looks back on 1986, the first year that the American Farm Bureau Federation looked at the cost of Thanksgiving meal. The report looks at the cost of turkey and all the trimmings for a family of 12, with leftovers. Max notes that in that latest report inflation drove up the price of the meal. Roger Cryon, chief economist, Farm Bureau comments on what drove up the price of the 2022 meal.

Max Armstrong's Farm Progress America is a daily look at key issues in agriculture. It is produced and presented by Max Armstrong, veteran farm broadcaster and host of This Week in Agribusiness.
