Back to work in GM plants. Well, maybe some workers. A tentative agreement was reached yesterday between GM and UAW. But going back to work would mean crossing the janitors picket line, which workers don’t want to do. Janitors have been on strike since the day prior to the autoworkers strike. A spokesperson for the janitors said the workload keeps increasing, but the pay does not.
We’ve talked about the value of drones to the agricultural community. A drone flying over a corn field in Minnesota may have saved the life of a 6-year-old. The boy went missing after getting off the school bus and going to play with the family dog in Palmer Township, 12 miles southeast of St. Cloud. The lost boy and his Brittany Spaniel were found around 2 a.m. in the corn field. More than 600 volunteers showed up to help find the lost boy.
