Steve Alexander is in for Max, and talks about Groundhog Day on Saturday, as well as the problems that can be caused by a big temperature shift in winter.

Groundhog Day is Saturday. The forcast will be about 30 with clouds. Will Willie see his shadow?

There will be some extreme weather shifts, like an 81-degree turnaround in Rockford, Ill. That large a shift can cause problems, however, like exploding frozen pipes.

The polar vortex has returned to Canada, and isn't likely to shift back down in the next couple weeks, at least.
