Max Armstrong talks about record low temperatures and wind chills, the 2019 South American soybean crop and flu activity.

The lowest temp recorded in Chicago is -27, in 1985. Tonight and tomorrow morning could get close to that.

Thirty-six of our states are reporting a high level of flu activity. Since Oct. 1, there have been more than 136,000 people hospitalized because of it, and nearly two dozen children have died from it. The available vaccine does cover the common strain.
