The airlines started issuing travel advisories this week with the hurricane on its way.

Max is at Husker Harvest Days this week. It's near Grand Island, Neb., where the state fair is held, and where Case IH combines are made.

The equivalent of a jet tanker load of fuel spilled into the St. Mary's River in Indiana. 

The Steak and Shake restaurant chain started in Illinois. But Chicago hasn't had its own restaurant. One will open later this month.

If a strike develops at steel plants, it'll be the first in many years.

If you're planning to view fall leaves, check with a travel advisor. In many places, the color change is ahead of usual.
