Max Armstrong and Mike Pearson hear from Alan Watts from WKDZ Radio in Cadiz, Kentucky to talk about the tragic tornado devastation there this week. Next, Patrick Haggarty talks to Sen. Debbie Stabenow about where funds from the recently passed infrastructure bill will be allocated. Next, Mike talks with Jim McCormick of AgMarket.net to talk about Fed economic activity. Next, they discuss basis, corn supplies and what the January market report might look like. They also discuss livestock markets and how lysine shortages are growing the need for soybean meal. Also, they get into where the wheat market is headed.

Part 2

Jim McCormick of AgMarket.net rejoins Mike to talk about world numbers on soybeans and how the Brazilian crop is shaping up and what domestic crops could look like next year. They look at the crush numbers that came out and how the energy market is looking. In the Colby Ag Tech segment Chad Colby was out kicking the tires at a small regional farm show in Westfield, Indiana. Well, some tires, equipment and parts shortages are a real problem.

Mike talks with Sam Kieffer of the American Farm Bureau about how things are going with the Biden administration. So far, so good, especially around the supply chain issues. They also discuss their concerns around the update to WOTUS. Next Mike talks with Jolene Brown about keeping the family together and on the same page in a business.

Max chats about data with Terry Wellman in Hanska, Minnesota in the BASF Plan Smart, Grow Smart segment. Agricultural Meteorologist Greg Soulje joins the show the weekly weather forecast.

In Max’s Tractor Shed, Max introduces a1961 Case 730 Orchard tractor that has some unique restorations from the American Tractor Museum in Perryville, Mo. In the FFA Chapter Tribute Mike Pearson chats with Jake Zajkowski, the Ohio State FFA President. He enjoys travelling the state and meeting new people and exploring the diversity of the FFA.

Part 7

Max visits the American Tractor Museum in Perryville, Mo to meet with Arley Berkbuegler who does a lot of the restorations on these antique beauties that all run now.
