Part 1

Mike Pearson kick off the show with a brief look at weather and La Nina with Greg Soulje. Max Armstrong talks to with Marshall Hansen, Farm Credit Services of America, about interest rates potentially moving up after years of low rates. Boyd Brooks, Consus, joins Mike Pearson to talk about the corn market and a bit of a wild week. They also spend some time on ethanol and wheat.

Part 2

Boyd Brooks, Consus, rejoins Mike to talk about soybean and livestock markets. In the Colby Ag Tech segment Chad Colby is checking out drone sprayer applications.

Part 3

Max is reporting from the National Agrimarketing Association Convention in Kansas City, Mo. talking to award winners from the meeting including, Agribusiness Leader of the Year Award winners, Tim Hassinger, Intelinair, Agribusiness Leader of the Year, and Chad Gregory of the United Egg Producers, was recognized as Ag Association Leader of the Year. Marketer of the year Amy Bugg, Agroliquid, also chats with Max about her work in marketing agriculture.

Part 4

Max talks with Lee Klancher, Octane Press, author of Red Tractors. The discuss the upcoming Half Century of Progress show and his upcoming book, The John Deere Evolution which he’ll be signing at the show. Agricultural Meteorologist Greg Soulje has the weather for the week ahead.

Agricultural Meteorologist Greg Soulje returns to take a look at the long-range weather picture.

Part 6

In Max’s Tractor Shed, Max introduces a “Barbecue” Farmall M, owned by Mike Miner in Watseka, Illinois. It’s not running anymore, but it’s still producing. In the FFA Chapter Tribute Mike Pearson chats with Kraysen Leonard, VP, Missouri FFA. She transferred from a local Christian school to public schools specifically to participate in the FFA. In Samuelson Sez, Orion Samuelson is talking about weather again. This time he’s looking at a tough year in Brazil.

Part 7

Max is combing his social media responses for evidence of a bumper crop of … fawns.
