Mike Pearson talks markets with Cesar Cruz, Director of Research at ATI to talk about export data for the U.S. crop and the global fertilizer market.

In Max’s Tractor Shed, Max introduces 1954 Farmall Super MTA owned by Larry Plapp, an ag educator in Delavan, Wisconsin. He was gifted it on retirement by his students who found this family treasure. In the FFA Chapter Tribute Mike talks with Mia Hillebrand, Wisconsin State FFA Treasurer whose term is just coming to an end. She says even though she didn’t grow up farming, but fell in love with it once engaging with FFA. Next up she plans to finish up her 4 year degree.

Part 7

Max and Mike return to talk about how restaurants choose their products from farmers and the challenges they face. Mike interviews Ernie Meier, director of quality, McDonald’s about how they connect with producers and the needs they all have. Also, he discusses what they look for in a producer.
