Veterinary professor and BEEF veterinary columnist Mike Apley at Kansas State University says that means the role that a veterinarian plays in the animal health decisions made on your operation becomes even more critical. There's a strong move within government to further regulate antibiotic use, and the judicious and ethical use of those products on the ranch will determine their future availability.
