June 13, 2018
Max Armstrong offers a little history about the farm bill, a program that started during the Great Depression during the Franklin D. Roosevelt Administration. President Roosevelt was aware of what was happening on the farm, and during the 100-days Congress came the Agricultural Adjustment Administration. Max shares more history about this program and how it evolved.
Farm Progress America is a daily look at key issues in agriculture. It is produced and presented by Max Armstrong, veteran farm broadcaster and host of This Week in Agribusiness.
