Hundreds of thousands of people are reported missing each year. Many are found quickly, but there are 88,000 active cases listed in a national law enforcement database.
A community in Iowa can get some closure after remains of a 16-year-old boy were found over the weekend. Another Iowa community is still investigating in the disappearance of Mollie Tibbetts.
