Macy's announced 68 stores being shut, including the store in downtown Minneapolis openned in 1902.

The story of four black teens battering a white man appears on page 6 in the Chicago Tribune newspaper and the story doesn't mention the color of people involved. That's not the case other places.

Agriculture secretary Tom Vilsack hasn't publicly announced where he's going to work after his tenure in the Obama Administration ends, but there are reports that Vilsack will become the next president and CEO of the U.S. Dairy Export Council. The Council says the milk from one of seven trucks leaving the farm winds up in products and ingredients sold to other countries.

About 2% of children in this country have a peanut allergy. Researchers are suggesting that parents introduce children to peanut-containing food at age 4 to 6 months as part of a process of developing the immune system. A developing immune system samples the environment early in life as part of its training.
