The Dakota Pipeline Protest is on again. The Secretary of the Army ordered the Corps to grant the permit. A group, Stand with Standing Rock, has pledged to protest the pipeline's installation under the Missouri River.

The Midwest is No. 1 in a lot of good things and then there's this. Of the drunkest cities, most are in the Midwest. Iowa City, Iowa; Lincoln, Neb., Mankato, Minn.; Fargo, N.D.; Appleton, Wis., are among those on the top 20. Wisconsin is the state with the heaviest drinkers.

The White House said the president planned to sign some executive orders at Harley Davidson in Milwaukee, but decided against it. Harley Davidson officials said they'd love to have him.

Gwendolyn Gillen, the artist who sculpted the bronze sculpture of Mary Tyler Moore, died in Wisconsin. The sculpture is in downtown Minneapolis.
