Max Armstrong talks about a teenager fighting cancer. (audio)

November 3, 2017

Do you read blogs? I’m not a blogger and I’ve not really followed anyone’s blog until the past few months. I met a family in central Illinois this summer and I haven’t stopped thinking and praying for them since. I’ve learned how this young lady in her teens has wisdom beyond her years. She has experienced anger. She was angered to learn how little our federal government does to help the fight against childhood cancer. Just 4%. She’s resolved to do what she can and help raise money on their own. There are many places we can make our end-of-year charitable contributions. I hope you’ll investigate the work of children’s hospitals to see if there is a place you can lend a hand. There is hope. Over 80% of children diagnosed with cancer will be cured and the number of childhood cancer survivors is growing.
