Officials in Nebraska have approved Keystone XL pipeline in a 3-2 vote yesterday. It will carry oil from Alberta, Canada, to Nebraska. Pipeline was first proposed in 2008. Trump revived in March after it stalled under Obama administration.
Farm Futures Feedback from the Field reports 172.1 corn yields average for November, lower than USDA estimate. Soybean yield is bushel higher than USDA in Feedback from the Field reports. Wisconsin still has 30% of its corn still in the field. Soybean harvest is nearly complete.
It’s the peak season for sales of cranberries. Fresh cranberries account for 3%-%5 for total cranberry sales. Cranberry growers want to curtail production to get prices up. 60% of production comes from Wisconsin.
