The president signed the federal opioid bill; there were 70,000 drug overdoes deaths last year, and more than two-thirds of those were from opioids.
Animal health officials are on the watch for African swine fever. There's currently no vaccine or treatment available for hogs.
A Tennessee doctor retired her medical license after borrowing $300,000 from a patient. Then diagnosed the woman with dementia so she wouldn't have to repay the loan.
