CSX Railroad delays are causing headaches, Max Armstrong says. (audio)

A bunch of businesses in our region that ship or receive have had difficult summer because of delays on CSX Railroad. The National Grain and Feed Association said poultry farmers are incurring additional costs because they are having to buy product shipped by truck. McDonalds had to use trucks to get French fries into Nashville because fries didn't arrive on time.

A week from now Farm Progress Show will be going on. Some 100 private planes will land at Decatur, Illinois, airport. There will be soil judging competition at the show. Folks in area benefit from having show there. $10 million into local economy because of Farm Progress Show.

Fewer Americans attending church or synagogue. 23% of us claim no church affiliation and the number has been growing across all denominations and age groups.
