We sure have been hearing about the casualties in retailing that sure is not the case for Wal-Mart. Their stock has jumped 40%. It posted its strongest quarterly sales growth yesterday. Going on at time many retailers are struggling to keep growing their businesses.

Last year was the third best year ever. U.S. once again had an agricultural trade surplus, which has happened every year since 1960.
